In this video for 3ds max we’ll be back on the Car rendering series, and this time we’ll go more in depth, working more on car shaders and creating a 3D environment around it.

In Advanced Car Rendering, we’ll work again at the Ferrari model used in the Car Rendring with VRay series, and we’ll prepare a different HDRI illumination setup to create a complete scene with environment. Then we’ll prepare a 3D road and we’ll work on asphalt/road material simulating water presence over it with various map layers. Then we’ll start tweaking all shaders and rendering setup to find a new look and level of quality.
In Part 2 of Advanced Car Rendering we’ll finish to tweak all shaders as the car paint, some plastics, glasses, tires,asphalt and side wall bricks. Then we’ll tweak the general car look and solve some issue with the model. Then we’ll start preparing various render passes to be used in comp to obtain final image, all these passes will be used in Fusion to create final look adding secondary effects and color correction.
